Digital Technology at our school, led by Rachel Taylor, follows the New Zealand Curriculum’s mission to transform students from digital consumers into innovative creators. Our program focuses on the two core strands of Computational Thinking and Designing and Developing Digital Outcomes, where students learn to break down complex problems, master the logic of coding, and build purposeful digital solutions like apps and websites. Rachel fosters a hands-on learning environment that emphasises iterative design, ensuring our students not only gain technical proficiency but also develop the critical thinking and digital citizenship skills needed to navigate and shape our fast-paced technological world.
