An Education Review Office (ERO) report represents an external evaluation conducted by the government to review how schools support achievement, maintain safe environments, and handle governance and leadership. Reports like these provide a snapshot of school operations alongside our own internal evaluations. Our latest ERO report has now been published, highlighting many wonderful aspects of life across our kura. The report notes solid achievement in Reading and Mathematics, steady improvements in regular attendance, high student engagement, a strong sense of belonging, and comprehensive support for students with additional needs. We were also pleased to see positive comments regarding our school leadership, collaborative culture, and teaching practices. The report identifies Writing as an area for development, which aligns directly with needs our teaching staff had already recognised, and targeted strategies are actively underway across both year levels to accelerate progress. Moving forward, our School Board and leadership team will draw on these external observations alongside our own internal data to help inform our strategic planning for 2027 and 2028.
