Enrichments

At our school, learning doesn’t just happen behind a desk. During Terms 2 and 3, our Friday schedule transforms during Block 2 to make room for Enrichments—a dedicated time for students to step outside the standard curriculum and dive into world-class experiences led by our passionate staff.

The goal of Enrichments is simple: to bridge the gap between classroom learning and global development. It’s an opportunity for students to mix with peers from across the school, build new relationships, and discover passions they didn’t know they had.

We pride ourselves on the sheer diversity of our offerings. Whether a student wants to master a new craft, explore the local environment, or test their strategic mind, there is a space for them.

Some of our popular and previous options include:

The Creative Arts: From Wearable Arts, Ukulele Club, the school band, to 2D & 3D Digital Art and Set Design.
STEM & Mystery: Dive into Wildlife AI, Science & Tech Fairs, or the puzzling Magic or Science? sessions.
Culture & Connection: Engage with Be Proud to Speak Māori, Hidden Voices: An Aotearoa Histories Podcast, or the Student MANA Team.
Active & Outdoors: Tackle Pest Free Devon (Rat Trapping), William Pike Challenge, or Hip Hop.
Life Skills & Strategy: Master Competitive Pokémon Battling, Travelling on a Budget, or Upcycling (Trash to Treasure).

Our Enrichment sessions run every Friday in Terms 2 and 3, regardless of the weather.
