We are incredibly fortunate to have Colleen Fawkner as our Learning Support Coordinator, bringing a wealth of expertise and a deep-rooted passion for inclusive education. Colleen is a highly respected figure in our local community, having spent years dedicated to the learning support space at both Spotswood Primary and Spotswood College. This extensive experience across different year levels makes her exceptionally capable of supporting students through every stage of their development, ensuring no one falls through the cracks as they move through their schooling.

As our LSC, Colleen acts as a vital bridge between students, whānau, and teachers. Her role involves identifying specific learning needs, coordinating with outside agencies for specialised resources, and empowering our classroom teachers with the strategies they need to help every child thrive. Colleen’s heart for advocacy ensures that our school remains a place where every learner—regardless of their starting point—is supported, understood, and given the tools to succeed.
